How did you get into this field?
I studied drama at Bristol University, worked in fashion in Milan, fashion film and digital content at Vogue India and attended music school to study commercial songwriting. I found, being a creative and a millennial, that I was acutely aware of the way brands marketed themselves to me and I could see the mistakes they were making.
What makes Konscious different?
We specialise in content that will not only make you look glamorous, but will future-proof your business and leave your competitors playing catch-up. We thrive when our working partnerships encourage innovation and socially conscious campaigns.
Times have very much changed when it comes to digital marketing. Anyone under the age of 35 is a specialist in ‘self-marketing’, so it’s vital that you steer clear of the dangers. We delve into your social media footprint and keep track of past and present social conversations in order to look after your reputation. We have been giving social media safety lectures to businesses since 2017.
What is your experience of the Luxury Sector?
The millennial consumer wants a different kind of relationship with the luxury market, the products they buy and the businesses they engage with. Selling luxury to the digital native is not about selling a product, it's offering a community and a lifestyle.
If you’re looking for an immediate return on investment, you’re already doing social media incorrectly. Use social to start positive conversations, educate and improve your industry. The product may be exclusive, but everyone has a right, and a platform, to be part of the conversation.
What would our working relationship look like?
We work alongside a multitude of departments to ensure that all social media worthy avenues are explored, collaborations pursued and moments recycled. We are firm believers that huge budgets aren’t always required - it’s about knowing what moments to capitalise.
We work both on and off-site, depending on the team that you require and how quickly the content needs to be published. We thrive under very tight deadlines; shooting, editing and publishing work in unprecedented time in conjunction with live events.
What if our budget is modest?
We have experience working with a range of budgets and can scale accordingly depending on what you require. We are also used to working on sets where the content we are producing is secondary, e.g. Behind the scenes content or fashion ‘look’ videos. Using our experience from live events, we work effectively to produce the maximum amount of top quality content at modest prices.
Do you specialise in any particular area?
We work within the sector of luxury fashion, goods and experiences, however we have extensive involvement in promoting high value items, in particular jewellery.
For the last 3 years we have been supporting Christie’s internationally with their Jewellery sales. In 2017 we followed the Art of De Grisogono Creation I on its international tour, managing the campaign that eventually saw the diamond sell at auction in Geneva for $33 million. In 2018 Konscious ran the international tour of The Winston Pink Legacy that sold at auction for $50 million. Most recently we produced the Instagram campaign for the Maharajas and Mughal Magnificence sale that realised $109 million in New York on June 19, 2019.
